Tiffany Chao is a student from Brooklyn, NY. She is studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC with a major in Advertising and Marketing Communications. She has majored in photography in middle school and high school starting off with darkroom work and evolving like the times did to digital. In high school, she has received numerous awards including "Arts Connections", Recognition in The Congressional Art Competition, Scholastic's National Gold Medal and Regional Gold Key and Scholastic's Honorable Mention for Portfolio. Through her awards, she was recruited to Musicholics4U establishing and working within the photography department.
In the past, Tiffany has worked a variety of jobs from social media, public relations, marketing, freelance video and photography, and design and layout work. She currently works as an associate at a booking agency as well as having her own nonprofit organization established in 2011, that promotes positivity through celebrity endorsements and public projects throughout New York. She is said to be a team player with perseverance and leadership skills that are communicated through her work. She is able to manage multiple projects at the same time and works well with others when given a complex task.
Other experience includes being the layout designer for a poetry book "Magnet", designing "Perspectives 2013" book cover, graphic designing advertisements for the NYC DOE public schools, photographing for “Humans of Pinecrest”, In Visual promotional photography for bands and event photography for a restaurant on Long Island. In addition, she is the Editor-In-Chief for her school's Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Chapter's newsletter and website.
When Tiffany is not working, she enjoys traveling locally and globally, hanging out with family and friends, exploring the city, and expressing her creativity in different ways.
